Member Generosity Benefits Area Family

Thanks to some generous members of Olympic Indoor, one area family in need enjoyed the holidays with some special gifts under the tree. Olympic connected with the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resource Center to sponsor a family with eight children. Around twenty club members provided clothes, toys, and other family-oriented gifts.

This is the third year Olympic has participated in the CRC’s holiday volunteer program. By sponsoring such a large family, the maximum number of members were able to participate.

Part of the century-old settlement house movement, the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center was organized in 1971 to promote a positive quality of life for residents of the Clintonville-Beechwold area.

Donated gifts are given to parents along with wrapping paper. These generous donations are a blessing to families unable to purchase gifts for one another. It’s a great way to help these families enjoy the season of giving.
